Beginners Yoga - a great class for beginners or as a compliment to other active physical practices. Beginners yoga is a balanced class that explores traditional asanas (postures), basic pranayama (breath control) and relaxation. This class covers different styles of yoga, basic principles of alignment, connects breathing with movement and allows the student the time and space to deconstruct the pose and create variations that meet their specific needs.
Mixed Level - This class focuses on deepening the experience of yoga. It is designed to challenge continuing students while also supporting students new to yoga. Come explore and learn to calm life's stresses, deepen relaxation and revitalize the mind. This session will include relaxation, breathwork, both gentle and challenging yoga, and restorative postures. This is profoundly relaxing and rejuvenating.
Power - This class combines strength, breathwork connected to an ever changing yoga flow. This class is perfect for students seeking a challenging format. Classes will be done in a warm (80 degree) studio in order to facilitate deep stretching and release of toxins. Be prepared to strengthen your entire body. Please bring a towel and water!
Kids - Kids will have fun while developing body awareness, focus and concentration! Yoga improves self-esteem, builds strong muscles and bones, and balances all of the bodies systems. Yoga postures and breathing will be practiced 'kids style' with poses taught in a fun and exciting way catered to kids. Our kids classes are for ages 3 and up.
Prenatal - Yoga is one of the best exercises during your pregnancy. Yoga classes provide an opportunity to deepen your awareness of your changing body and mind as you prepare for the life-changing events of birth and becoming a parent. Please consult with your physican before starting a yoga practice during your pregnancy. Our prenatal classes are combined with our regular classes. Beginners or Mixed levels are recommended.
